SEPTEMBER 17 – MONTVALE, NJ – I learn something new every day.  If not every day, every year at least.  This year, I learned about "parking the bus."  Apparently it is a strategy that soccer teams use to play all of their guys back on defense.
The game looked a lot like one team was playing to win, but the other team was playing to tie.  I can imagine it frustrating if two teams on the same field are playing two different games.  In any case, it was exciting for 80 minutes, but especially in the 73^rd minute when Kyle Braithwaite scored on an extreme angle shot about two yards above the end line, driving a left-footed kick high, through the hands of the Green Knight goalie, giving BC a 1-0 victory.  Carl Ombajin was credited with the assist.
John Coleman made five saves to earn the shutout victory.
