FANTASTIC VOYAGE ENDS AFTER 27 WINS!
JUNE 2 – ORADELL, NJ – The Crusader Volleyball Team gave a valiant effort against the Blue Devils of Westfield HS. Three senior Crusaders
George Azrumelashvili,
Andrew Coyne and
Logan Sarza led the Crusaders to the best season in school history, winning 27 of 29 sets and bringing home Big North Conference Freedom Division and Bergen County Championships. They finished the season against a senior-laden opponent. BC took the opening game, but the experience seemed to weight on the younger BC team as they could not seem to grab a lead in the final three games.
   The stands were full. The Crusader faithful, proud of their team who gave all they had right up to the end.

VOLLEYBALL SEASON AND CAREER NUMBERS
What a career! George Azrumelashvili finishes with 911 kills, 853 digs, 328 service points and 121 aces! The first-team All-League and All-County performer was simply magnificent throughout his four years. His leadership and performance drove BC to its finest year in program history.
Li. Benjamin Li. Likely we should throw a mister on the front of that. The talented sophomore QB of the squad assisted on 918 points this season, currently resting at 1,151 in his two-year career. He recorded on 90.3% of the teams assists and led the team with 195 service points during the 2026 campaign.
Sophomore Service. Benjamin wasn't the only awesome server on this team.Â
Jayden Choi edged out George Azrumeshavili with Aces with 46 on the season and recorded 190 service points. Pitch in 222 digs and 181 kills and BC has a well-rounded outside hitter returning!
Natural Born Killer. Sophomore
Jose Ferreira may have been second on the team in Kills (339 behind George's 355), but he was second-to-none when it came to blocks. His 151 were 54 ahead of the next closest Crusader.
Freshman Frontline Phenom.Â
Michael Tremarco, aka "Big Mike," made a splash, establishing himself as one of the most reliable big-men at the net, recording 97 blocks in his freshman season. Add 26 kills and 37 digs and you have a very impressive first-year resume!
