APRIL 15 – LYNDHURST, NJ – BY, MATTHEW DEL '26 – Bergen Catholic was led by a great pitching performance from
Jack Pintarelli, who threw a complete game. He pitched all seven innings and only allowed two runs, both of which were unearned, while also recording ten strikeouts. Pintarelli's ten punchouts was a career high for the senior. His control on the mound helped keep Paramus Catholic from building any real momentum.
Maximos Demaras homered and drove in four runs as he continued driving the ball hard in his first varsity season at BC. The Crusaders showed strong discipline at the plate en route to victory, striking out just twice compared to the Paladins ten.
It was a complete game for Bergen Catholic. Strong pitching, solid hitting, and good discipline helped the team secure an important league win over Paramus Catholic.
