MAY 16 – BERGENFIELD, NJ – Stakes continue to grow as BC played on a neutral site in the Bergen County Quarterfinals against Garfield HS on Saturday afternoon.  The top-seeded Crusaders were not distracted in the least, disposing of their opponents in straight sets 25-17, 25-23.
     Jose Ferreira was on top of his game once again, finishing with 11 kills, 5 blocks, 3 service points and a pair of aces.  Benjamin Li directed the Crusaders with 23 assists, 4 blocks, 4 service points and an ace.  Some of the most fun to watch, though, is the dynamic play of libero, Nicholas Auriemma, reacting with cat-like instincts and reckless abandon to dig 22 balls.  Additionally, Nick led the team with 6 service points.
