APRIL 8 – ORADELL, NJ – BC (#20 in the nj.com Boys Lacrosse Top 20) fell behind 5-0 in the first quarter against Gibbs Division opponent and 16
th ranked Mountain Lakes. The Lakers early lead was due mainly to their Parcellsian approach to lacrosse, holding the ball for nearly 11 and a half minutes of the 12-minute first quarter. BC hit the back of the net for the first time with just three seconds remaining in the period and despite an unequal time of possession, BC played even for the remaining 36 minutes.
Sophomore
Lucas Bucher recorded 18 saves, yielding 11 in the outing. Six different Crusaders found the back of the net, led by
Thomas Fobare (2 goals). Three others recorded assists.
Jack Gonzalez picked up 5 ground balls for BC.
