APRIL 29 – LYNDHURST, NJ – DePaul Catholic secured the BNC United Division title, much to the dismay of BC, on Wednesday at Breslin Field.  The Crusaders grabbed an early lead as Andres Polanco singled and Michael Alberto  tripled him home in the bottom of the first.   Daniel Graziano singled and Adriel Huertas eyed out a walk to force a second run, but that was all the Crusader offense could muster across seven innings.

     Andres Polanco's single was his team-leading, 16^th hit of the season.  He is tied with sophomore Aquiles Hache for that distinction.    

     Joe Gugliotta started the game and got into the fourth inning before Michael Tarpinian relieved him, pitching three and two thirds innings of shut-out baseball, striking out five.  Sophomore Michael Alberto's triple was the third in his young career and his first of the season.  He is two shy of team leader Daniel Graziano who has three this year.
