APRIL 25 – PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Crusader 4x100 Relay Team was on fire Saturday, flying around Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania in the Penn Relays. The team of
Kieran Ewers '26,
Adrian Woodward '28,
Jonathan Griffith '27, and
Thomas McAnulty '26 brought back BC's first wheel in the 4x100 since 2023, recording a time of 41.98 in the 4x100 Northeast Race. The Crusaders of 2026 shaved nearly a half second off BC's 2023 time of 42.37. BC was unable to qualify for the Champion of America, despite running a 41.59 in their heat. Nine Jamaican teams, two Bahamanian, one Californian and one from the District of Columbia finished ahead in the heats, of which the top 8 (all Jamaican) qualified.
BC's 4x400 also recorded a strong time, finishing fourth in their heat with a time of 3:20.08.
Thomas McAnulty,
Amiir Woodward and Jonathon Griffith started the team off and they held 7
th place, but
Adrian Woodward, in the anchor leg, passed three runners, helping the team finish fourth in their heat.
