APRIL 2 – LYNDHURST, NJ – The Crusaders took full control of the Gaels following a 7-run second inning at Breslin Field. BC went on to earn a 10-run mercy rule victory over St. Mary's of Rutherford (14-4).
Arnav Vega went one-for-two with a triple and a walk, two runs scored and a pair of RBIs. Leadoff hitter
Aquiles Hache went two for three and drove in three runs for BC.
Michael Alberto also went two for three in his clean-up spot. He drove in a pair and scored three times.
Adriel Huertas went four innings for BC, striking out seven and yielding three earned runs to earn the win. He also doubled in a run to help his own cause from the batter's box.
Jael Santos closed the door in the fifth for BC.
