FEBRUARY – 17 - PARAMUS, NJ – BC won its 24
th game of the season on Tuesday night, and completed a perfect BNC United Division season (8-0) defeating Paramus Catholic 80-46 at PC. The Crusaders jumped out to a 25-17 first quarter lead behind
Julius Avent who scored 8 of his game-high 18 points in the opening stanza.
Jaden Brown made deposits of 7 points in the first and third quarters, finishing with 14 on the night.
Sophomore forward
Owen Wucherpfennig continues to produce, with 11 points and 5 rebounds on the night.
Alex Mazzella scored 8 points and assisted on 9 shots and
Jahlil Owusu scored four, grabbed four rebounds and assisted on seven baskets.
GAME NOTE: In 69 years of BC basketball, this year's Crusaders are among the elite. With 24 victories, only five BC teams have won more in a season. The record is 27 victories by the 2018-2019 and last year's 2024-2025 led by Coach Armstrong. Under Coach Christopher "CJ" Donfield, 26 wins by the 1988-1989 team and 25 in back-to-back years by Coach Joe Dionisio's 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 teams.
