OCTOBER 17 – MAHWAH, NJ – The Crusaders dominated the Bergen County Coaches Association Group E Boys Meet on Saturday at Darlington.  The Crusaders' Preston Neal ran a time of 15:28, significantly better than Caleb Shaia's 15:51 (though there is an adjustment needed for metric to English systems of measurement).
As a team, the Crusaders totaled 25 points to lead the group.  They were followed by Don Bosco Prep (46 points), St. Joseph Regional (79), Dwight Englewood (110) and Saddle River Day (118).  Perhaps more significantly, the Crusaders average speed was 16:02.40 per runner, a 31-second improvement in one week!

JV HARRIERS WIN COUNTY TOURNAMENT
EMERSON DELAROCA SETS PACE, FINISHES FIRST
OCTOBER 17 – MAHWAH – The JV truly dominated their race, placing 7 of the top 8 runners and 10 in the top 20 finishers.  It is worthwhile comparing those top JV times with the varsity times.  If they remain committed, it's apparent the squad could be very good again next year!
Team scores:  Bergen Catholic (18), Lyndhurst (48), New Milford (97), Northern Valley Demarest (113), River Dell (121), St. Joseph Regional (180), Dwight Morrow (Englewood) (181).
