JANUARY 8 – WAYNE, NJ – Two teams entered Thursday evening's game with 7-1 records, but only one would emerge with just one loss.  The Crusaders took care of business in a BNC United game, defeating their hosts, DePaul Catholic by 35 points, 65-30.
     Jaden Brown (11 points), Julius Avent (10 points, 10 rebounds), Alex Mazzella (10 points) and Owen Wucherpfennig (10 points) each hit double-digits as the defense stifled the Spartans, holding them to single digits in each quarter and only four points in the second.  The Crusaders went on a 48-13 run in the middle two periods.
