JANUARY 5 – STOCKHOLM, NJ – BC rebounded from a tough loss in the BCCA Tournament to defeat #11-ranked Pope John XXIII of Sparta at Skylands Ice World on Monday evening 3-1. This was an important early-season contest between Gordon Conference National teams.
Junior
Angelo Spadaccini got BC going with a first period goal. The Lions would tie the score in the second but
Braydon Kane would net what would become the game winner shortly after. Spadaccini recorded an empty netter to put the game on ice, helping BC to improve to 6-4 on the season.
The Crusaders got exceptional efforts by their goalies,
