JANUARY 2 – WAYNE, NJ – The fifth-seeded Crusaders faced fourth-seeded Ridgewood in the Quarterfinal round of the BCCA Tournament at the Ice Vault on Thursday night.  The Maroons advanced with a 4-3 decision over the Crusaders, but not before a strong second period put that goal in jeopardy.
     Following a scoreless first, the Crusaders opened the scoring with George Wiener finding the back of the net.  Angelo Spadaccini scored a second before the Maroons cut the lead in half.  Carter Edmonds gave BC some second-period breathing room with his tally, sending the teams into the second intermission, BC leading 3-1.
     The third period was all Maroons, unfortunately,  Ridgewood scored three unanswered goals to earn the victory.
