COLONIE, NY – The Crusader Cross Country Teams competed in the Bowdoin Invitational in the capital district, upstate New York. Teams from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island competed in the one-day event. The star of the day was freshman
Joseph Reiser who finished third overall among 117 runners in the Freshman Boys race. Reiser completed the 3000M race with a time of 10:22.9.
Preston Neal was the top runner for the varsity, finishing 30
th among a field of 207 runners and 25 teams. Neal crossed the finish line with a time of 17:04.6. The Crusaders finished 15
th overall in the Boys Varsity II Event, edging Brooklyn Tech by way of a tie breaker.
The JV Team ran well with
Brian Duff placing tops among Crusader runners. He finished 34
th with a time of 21:12.1.
