ORADELL, NJ - The freshman Crusader Soccer Team matched up with one of Bergen County's top public school programs, Ridgewood HS, on Saturday afternoon. After a scoreless first half, BC finally scored first on a drive from the right wing by
Liam Fenton.
Max Rivarola scored twice for BC, the second off a beautiful feed from
Nate Oltmanns.
Billy Trimble was strong throughout the game, penetrating the Ridgewood defense in the middle. He received strong support from Sam Houston and
Cruz Dolphin on on of the sidelines.
Colin Burns,
Jorge Tuesta and
Tim Tramontozzi made their presence felt, playing solid defense and helping to move the ball up field.
Dylan McMahon played a very solid game in the goal, allowing BC to generate a 3-0 lead before being scored upon late in the second half.
The Crusaders are now 5-2-2 on the season.
