BAYONNE, NJ – The Varsity Hockey Team opened up 3-0 first period lead and
Kenneth Johnson recorded 37 saves as BC defeated Xavier (NY) 5-2 on Monday.
Charlie Carcich set up
Carter Edmonds on a power play to open the BC scoring show. Freshman
Michael Nordman spotted Justin Dextraze who found the back of the net for goal number two and Brayden Kane knew just what to do with an Edmonds pass to complete a terrific first period.
The Knights notched a goal to cut the lead to 3-1, but
Jack Pelzar converted a
Charlie Lombardo set-up to reclaim a 3-goal advantage.
BC entered the third period up 4-2 and
Angelo Spadaccini scored unassisted to put the icing on the cake for a 5-2 victory.
