DECEMBER 22 – CORAL SPRINGS , FL – In a back and forth first quarter, the Crusaders gained a four point advantage.  That slipped quickly into a 6 point deficit at half time as a combination of Coral Glades' zone defense and outside shooting quickly shifted momentum.
     Hustle and fierce play from Brandon McMillon, Alex Mazzella, Jahlil Owusu changed the momentum of the game, ultimately giving BC a 41-40 lead after three quarters.
     Julius Avent hit a pair of free throws to extend BC's third quarter lead to 43-40.  After Coral Glades tied the score at 43, BC began opening it up after a Jahlil Owusu three pointer, making the score 49-45.
     Jaden Brown came off the bench and converted on a clutch 3 pointer with 1:54 remaining to extend the lead to 54-48.    Jaden had another key bucket on a fast break with 39 seconds left and the Crusaders were able to put the game to bed 58-52, winning the BSN Championship in the Kreul Classic.
     Bergen Catholic is currently 5-0 and ranked #1 in Bergen County and in New Jersey.
