DECEMBER 20 – STATEN ISLAND, NY – Bergen Catholic's Indoor Track Team competed in the 71st Bishop Loughlin Games at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
Sophomore Amiir Woodward set a new personal record in the 55m Dash with a time of
6.64, currently the fastest time in Bergen County.
Freshman Nick Rice earned a medal in the 300m with a
6th-place finish in a highly competitive freshman field, running
39.28.
The Crusaders had
four athletes qualify for the finals in the 300m Dash, all recording significant personal records and
qualifying for the National Championships:
Amiir Woodward's 34.25 in the 300m not only breaks the
Bergen Catholic High School record but also sets a new
Bergen County record. This performance ranks as the
15th fastest time in New Jersey history!
