MONTVALE, NJ – Ralph Tristani threw a pair of touchdown passes and completed a two-point conversion as BC fell to SJR on the JV level 26-14. Down 12-0, the Tristani threw a deep route on the right sideline, hitting Quinn Dunleavy in stride at the back of the end zone. The Crusaders cut their lead to four when Tristani hit Rockwell Rosenberg in the corner for the conversion.
The Crusaders were unable to score in the third quarter, but drove the ball effectively in the fourth when Tristani hit Liam Erickson for a touchdown. Tristani's attempt to carry the ball into the end zone which failed, but they cut the lead to 20-14 with three minutes remaining. BC attempted an on-sides kick that was recovered by the Green Knights.
They attempted stripping the ball out of the ball carrier's hands, but ultimately yielded a long touchdown as time ran down.
