HERE COME THE CRUSADERS!

BERGEN CATHOLIC VS RIDGEWOOD IN THE COUNTIES
The Crusaders are 2-1 vs. Ridgewood in three meetings in the Jerry Lewis Bergen County Tournament. The last time the Crusaders faced the Maroons in the tourney, was a 2-1 victory at Indian Hills HS.
BC won in dramatic fashion, taking home the school's third Bergen County title as Allen Villafranca scored a pair of goals. Andrew Remias turned away five Ridgewood shots on goal to win it.  Villafranca's game winner, was a late, second-half penalty kick.  The win was Coach Pete Berkanish's first county title as head coach of the Crusaders.  He joined Hugh Beattie (1985) and Hugh "Jim" McGirr (1999) as a county championship coach.
