Crusaders Earn Quality Win vs Passaic County Power Clifton

Khan, Burns Lift Crusaders to twelfth victory

OCTOBER 21 – CLIFTON, NJ – The Varsity soccer team improved to 12-3-1 on the season with a 2-1 victory on the road against the Mustangs.  Clifton opened with an early goal in the game's seventh minute.  Senior midfielder Saif Khan drove free kick into the top right corner from the left wing to knot the score at 1 in the game's twelfth minute.  Goal keeper John Coleman was strong, turning away three Clifton shots on goal to earn the first victory at Clifton since 2015.  Meanwhile, the Crusaders drove at least two first half shots off the crossbar.
     Junior winger Frankie Burns scored the game winner.  Burns continues to make key plays at the key times for this team.  Will Tramontozzi provided the only assist in the game.
     BC is now 3-3-4 in its last 10 games with Clifton.  BC has now won 11 of 43 games vs. the Mustang since the first meeting in September , 1976.
