MORRISTOWN, NJ – Sophomore QB did a fine job, leading BC to a pair of TDs and freshman Carter Sabathia recorded a tackle for a loss on the first play of the game, and another on the last play of the game as the JV football team defeated the Green Wave 12-7.
Freshman QB led the Crusaders to their first touchdown, but sustained a knee injury in the third quarter. Sophomore Ralph Tristani completed a 28-yard pass to Quinn Dunleavy for a touchdown. The PAT was no good. In the fourth quarter, Tristani executed an outstanding drive that included a beautiful 30-yard pass to sophomore Dunleavy, who appeared to land in the end zone with the football. The referees marked him down at the one-half yard line setting up Tristani's plunge for six to give BC the lead.
Placekicker Brody Carnahan had a touchback and Mateo Michelis had a game saving tackle on a fourth quarter kickoff.
