ORADELL, NJ – Jonah Kim scored on a lucky head deflection of a Norseman defender translated in the BC's first goal in the 6
th minute of play. BC had a free kick with
John Semelsberger who crossed a pass to
Frankie Burns who scored the Crusaders' second goal of the game.
Frankie Burns fed Owen McCauley, whose header carried into the goal with 13:30 remaining in the half and starting goalie
John Coleman finished up a clean half between the pipes.
BC never looked back with
James Melia scoring and then Melia setting up
Liam Agans for second-half goals.
Ian Chung entered the game half-way through the second half to preserve the shutout and help BC to advance in the County Tournament. The Crusaders will play Leonia's Lions at Ramapo in the Quarterfinals this weekend.
